Wheelchair Repair and Maintenance

Scope of Training
The training covers key areas of wheelchair service provision, including:
- Overview of wheelchair types and their components
- Use of tools and equipment for repair
- Preventive maintenance practices
- Identification and troubleshooting of common faults
- Repair of essential components such as frames, wheels, brakes, cushions, and seating systems
- Safety standards and quality assurance in repair processes
- Basic safeguarding principles in service delivery
