Disability Inclusion Training
Inclusive Training promotes Inclusive Programming, equal participation of persons with disabilities in mainstream Development programmes, in line with national/international policies and disability inclusion frameworks. Persons with Disabilities often face attitudinal, physical and environmental barriers, thus affecting their participation if all aspects of life
The training supports these stakeholders strengthening; advocacy skills, Inclusive Programming and social inclusion within the community
Purpose of the training
- To create awareness that persons with disabilities (PWDs) are excluded
- To shift from a charity perspective to a rights-based perspective of disability

- To reduce poverty by upholding United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
Targeted Audience
This training is tailored to schools for in-service teachers who have not trained in special needs education and CSOs who wish to mainstream disability in their programs,.
