Welcome to Motivation Africa
We are an African NGO and social enterprise with a proud, twenty-year history.
We work alongside governments, NGO partners and communities to promote disability rights and ensure disabled people have the wheelchairs, services and training they are entitled to – because access to assistive technologies (AT) is a right, not a privilege.
Assistive technologies – such as glasses, hearing aids or wheelchairs – and the services that provide them are essential for healthy, productive, independent and dignified lives.
Our goal is to see a world where every country provides ready access to appropriate AT and services, and builds an inclusive society where everyone has respect, autonomy and equitable access to opportunities.
This is the work we and our partners are doing to design, deliver, learn, share and inspire the changes needed.
Together we’re building a more accessible and inclusive world, delivering impact that cascades to families, communities and wider society.

This curriculum isn’t theoretical anymore. Our students now leave JKUAT having worked with real-life cases—gaining confidence, competence, and a deeper sense of compassion. They graduate not just with knowledge, but with practical skills that truly prepare them for the field.
